Hickory Star Marina
Boat Slips on Norris Lake
Voted Best Marina by Union County Shopper News – 2012
When you go out to eat in a new town, do you ever ask, “Where do the locals go?” You know that place has to have a good reputation, and it consistently delivers a great product. That’s why we are proud to be voted Best Marina in the October 28, 2012 edition of the Union County Shopper News – pg. 8
Boat Slips, Buoy Lines and Dry Storage
Hickory Star Marina is the launching point for hundreds of boats, thousands of adventures, and a million “big fish stories.” Boaters and anglers from all over East Tennessee and southeastern Kentucky choose to park their boats with us. We offer covered slips and year-round dry storage. Nightly slip rentals are available for campers, but call ahead to make sure we have a space open.
“The two best days in a man’s life are when he buys his boat… and when he sells his boat.” If you love the water, but would rather not be a boat owner (it can be a love/hate relationship), Hickory Star Marina rents pontoon boats. We recommend you read these boating safety tips from the TWRA.

Bait & Tackle Shop
But wait, before you head out to the lake, there’s always one last thing. Did you remember everything? Ice? Bait? Snack crackers, candy bars and drinks?
Okay. What about a lake map, batteries for your flashlight or Tennessee fishing license?
Click here to purchase a resident or non-resident Tennessee fishing license from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) for either 1 day, 3 days, 10 days or a year.
You got it all now? Good. Y’all have fun and don’t forget your PFDs!
